My prediction: if Virat,KLR, Bumrah and Shami play in BGT, india will lose that! Sounds sad but our mindset to subconsciously look for giant figures on big occasion often leads to crumbling if they fail which they usually do despite of their best efforts. These players are indeed big and deserve all the respect, just that the habit of a society with diverse income and social gap brings this power ranking structure subconsciously in us. About Rohit, somehow his behaviour doesn’t look like a dominating guy who you would feel like warrior or Macho, he looks like the one among us. So even if he fails, it doesn’t bother us and team wins regardless. Shami often fails at big occasions (I’m his big fan) but Bumrah and Virat are too big names and machoistic personalities! KLR behaviour of being idealistic puts him under that category too. Sometimes team should be for bunch of boys laughing together and showing their best of energy on the ground enjoying that very moment, together. Sometimes the presence of someone too clean, or beautiful, or guardian figure does affect that. Dravid, ST had those appearances and they struggled to win the matches. Discipline keeps your average performance checked tho!
