The pace of growth in Hyderabad, India, is dizzying and if it is repeated in other places around the country - and there’s no reason to think it won’t - the combined carbon impact would be huge.
This conflict between the two sides of Hyderabad - economic development versus environmental damage - represents one of the biggest challenge for countries like India at the Paris climate summit later this month.
