India has been careful to avoid excessive money printing to keep inflation in check. The Reserve Bank of India focuses on controlling inflation through monetary policies .Trade deficit is a significant factor in the weakening of the Rupee, but it’s part of a broader set of influences, including capital outflows, global economic conditions, monetary policies, and inflation differences. Together, these factors create downward pressure on the Rupee's value.

Interest paid percentage on public debt to GDP was around 5% as compared to much smaller number in capitalist countries. Government spending to GDP really took off after 1947. That is the actual reason for stagnantion. RBI prints more money. All prices including all asset values rises. This itself is a tax. Capital gains is thus another tax. It is just extortion. Print money and seize wealth. Taxation is theft. Abolish RBI. Security transaction tax (STT) is pure extortion. RSS is Communist, communist with Hindu label. Communism is thus hostile to freedom, achievement and merit. As General Secretary of the Jan Sangh, Deendayal Upadhyaya made his first public statement on the party’s economic policy on July 25, 1953: “Our economic programme is absolutely socialistic. We are committed to the present economic set up and to the reduction of inequalities in income and expenditure. We wish to establish a 1:20 proportion between the lowest and the highest income. Sanjeev Sabhlok The eccentric economic ideology of RSS and BJP - Part 2 January 25, 2020, Times of India 1.RIGHT PATH IN ECONOMICS ====================== 1.1 Folly of Swarajya Jagran Manch of protectionism or the only thing which can work is free market economics, with low taxation leading to zero taxation. =========== Suppose China were to send ship loads of Gold , would it not be very intelligent to return it due to ideology. It's intelligent to accept all the free gold. Insisting on mining gold when someone is distributing it free is generation of poverty and not wealth. What applies to Gold is true for all materials and services. If we were to be self-reliant in all things, the “OPPORTUNITY COST” would be way too high It's Nehruvian mindset which "encouraged" agriculture. Such encouragement comes at a cost is the form of discouragement for production of innovation products and services with HIGH MARGINS. Will there be in general demand for innovative products? Say's laws assures that there will be demand but only entrepreneurs can find them. Ideal is free markets and not so called price competitive production, or Atmanirbhar or protectionism which is on one hand imposing protective tariffs for sick industries of cronies and on the other hand "encouraging " some others. Both are burden on tax payers. The central point of protectionism is more power to tax eaters and CRONIES. Main reason of economic disaster is import tariffs and trade war. India refused to join RCEP, while practical Australia which is in quad joined it. Even Japan along with South Korea joined it.. Come to think of it import tariffs are SANCTIONS ON ONESELF Matt Ridley “There is not a single example of a country opening its borders to trade and ending up poorer.” 1.2 Concept of SEED MONEY ================== Now no taxation is best, and perhaps at best advance funding with Competition ensured between service providers. In the present setup whatever little taxation has to be only on consumption. Anything, capital gains or income or inheritance or corporate tax which is not YET consumption is potential investment. Taxing nonconsumpltion capital gains is therefore eating seed money. The word seed money is used because one seed can lead to millions and millions of seeds down the line. Taxing security transaction tax is plain extortion and expropriation as it's a tax on loss. What's the fun of PM hunting for Investment around the world after consuming seed money? It's fun for bureaucracy in them having foreign Jaunts. This led to PM required to put up a pose before world Investors that he follows global fads. That's the origin on CENTRAL BANK DIGITAL CURRENCY (a surveillance currency , as even Vivek Ramaswamy has opposed and took promise from Trump not to implement)"war on cash", slavery to lockdown ideology , environmentalism. This will lead to following IDEOLOGY of "Great Reset " put up by World Ecpnomic Forum and Klaus Schwab. Therefore interventionism in Markets leads to unforeseen effects. Government intervention starves entrepreneurs, capable of producing innovative products with HIGH PROFITABILITY, with both capital (private investment will be crowded out) and labour crowded out. Thus , many products are never born or it is crushed in the womb. What Adam Smith says applies to people like S. Gurumurthy of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, who are for protectionism. Adam Smith “The member of parliament who supports every proposal for strengthening this monopoly (of house manufacturers), is sure to acquire not only the reputation of understanding trade, but great popularity and influence with an order of men whose number and wealth render them of great importance. If he opposes them, on the contrary, and still more if he has authority enough to thwart them, neither the most acknowledged probity, nor the highest rank, nor the greatest public services, can protect him from the most infamous abuse and detraction, from personal insults, nor sometimes real danger, arising from the insolent outrage of furious and disappointed monopolists”. ===================

I believe the fed is trying to give it's self room to act when it's appropriate to, however, wall street is trying to bully the fed into a corner. Simple. What goes up must come down. The market has been up a long time, now it must go down. You can pick any reason why it is going down, but the smart money will give you many.

Again, stay Short TLT/Long TBT. For those of you intelligent enough to be on the right side of the trade with me, I don't need to tell you...tighten up your Stops, make sure you book profits on this runner, and be patient to reload soon! For those of you that are missing out on the daily 52 Week Lows, don't worry, you'll get your chance to Short TLT with both hands! Four and a half years in and the party is just getting started! And of course, remember to give thanks to Jeff and the TLT bros for being on the other side of the trade.

Is it India's currency going down OR USA raising the value of the dollar against all currencies around the world, because they can? Are there any countries around the world whose currency has improved against the US dollar?

The Rupee has been "crashing" at the rate of 4.25% since the last 30 years. How is this news...? People look at absolute values 4.25% of 68 is 2.89 4.25% of 84 is 3.57 So again whats new??? Btw..for those mathematically challenged 4.25% of 100 is 4.25! Smart people know this ...while the rest...blow up on media/ social media!

When a non-eligible person control the finance and unplanned decision making policy, tax system and loans to inexperienced business tycoons. Will have the effect.
@DSandy1113 күн бұрын
0:14 Sensex down 1000 points is not “crashing”!!! The India index is at around 76,000 and a drop of 1000 points is about 1.3% that is nothing. I think this is a case of sensationalism for clicks. 😏
@MuckyMucky-z3c4 күн бұрын
No, it is a USD problem that is spreading across GBP, EUR, BRL, INR, JPY and others. The dumping of US Treasuries is causing yields to rise and strengthen the USD against EVERYONE!

Why are you so sure it's a crisis? I see all BRIKS countries weakening their currencies. This makes them less likely to trade w/ the US and just w/ each other. Just what they want to start a new world economy. I would like to see you entertain this notion. In this way they may feel that eventually they can isolate use of the US dollar?
@Qingeaton4 күн бұрын
Interesting thought. Is there sufficient supply and demand between them to make their economies work? Will they balance out nicely, one supplying the things the others lack? Being an American, I am pro America, but I wish the people of other countries well, if they want to do things their own way.
@chrisraymond22344 күн бұрын
