Thank you for making a video on Jallikkattu.I Hope atleast after seeing this video the animal rights activists understand that there is no cruelty to the animal. I would recommend you to make another video of the emotional bond between the bull and the owner. How much money,care and effort is invested in the preparation of the bull for the sport. The transformation of the very same bull that is so aggressive in the arena, into absolutely timid with the owner. How gentle they can be with women and children will make a very special video.

jallikattu is our tamil pride, our culture has been conducting this sports for a thousand years, the cows are grown by it's caregiver as a member of their own family and when it dies naturally, they raise a temple around it and conduct pooja on it's burial site every year just like they do for a family member. People who do not understand the cultural importance of this sport and spew hatred and saying that a tradition which has been followed for hundreds of years must be banned probably need to stfu and educate themselves. As for curly tales, Even if you do not support a tradition do not be its obstacle.

Thanks for explaining Jallikattu. Some lobbies were portraying it as cruelty toward animals and even succeeded getting the court to impose a ban on it. ApexCourt just lifted the ban on it. Indeed, We Indian Hindus don't hurt animals leave alone being cruel to cows, bulls or buffalos. We worship cows. But one footnote: passing that rope through a bull's nasal septum is questionable.
