I am waiting for the day when the tracks will be upgraded so that Vande Bharat does 200 kmph. The Eurostar is capable of a topspeed of 320 kmph on high speed tracks but runs at 160 kmph on regular tracks.

Yes we have seen so many 180 trials but now i want to see atleast one train hitting 200 on indian tracks. Once we cross 200 then India will also be considered at a respectable place for having speedy trains. nowadays anything below 200 isn't considered speed we gotta above 200 now.

@@shobhittodi7512 200+ might be a problem but atleast they can operate at 200 only. Like when this section was made capable for 180 then it was made 10% extra capable which was 198 then we can say that with some minor works we can run trains at dot 200 on that section.

At the speed at which Ashwini Vaishnav is going it will soon be time when India has trains plying around at 200 kmph. It would feel good to laugh at the faces of nay sayers then. BTW, @200 kmph the Indian trains will eclipse the max speed of Chinese non-bullet rains which run at 160 kmph. Many run slower between 120 - 140 kmph.

Everyone knows about the actual Potential of VB Express that it can easily run up to 200/kmph speed without any issue. But with deep respect let me draw your attention towards one point that in our beloved Indian Railways, the tracks are not capable for such high speed transportation. Hence, the trains can only run up to 160/kmph speed and Gatimaan Express has been doing that with ease for a long time. So, the actual Potential of trains have automatically been restricted up to 160/kmph. Understood brother ???

@@harshtrivedi125 technically you are correct. but you have to factor in the technical issues as well as Human weaknesses which can be a roadblock to reaching full potential. Gatiman Express is superfast but it does rattle and shake at higher speeds. VB on the other hand is much more stable at same speed. and sooner or later, i am sure VB trains will be going faster than Gatiman Express. i think Railways are taking it safe first, checking on how VB train performs on the tracks and then slowly, they will increase the speeds wherever possible to lower travel time without compromising on comfort.
