India's FIRST POLENTA TABLE | Olive Wheat Grape | Pune Food Vlog

Hello Hungryheads!
Getting to try new food experiences and bringing unique dishes to you fills me with so much joy! There's a new addition to the Pune food scene brought by this young restaurant called Olive Wheat Grape.

We tried what is called a Polenta Table. This has not been experimented in India before, and Pune and done it first! Polenta is an Italian corn meal dish, that is slow cooked with garlic, butter and cheese. For the Polenta Table, the polenta gets spilled across the table and is topped with delicious pieces or meat and vegetables.
The one we ate here was a customised version where we got to try chicken and mutton both, and of course with the addition of roasted zucchini, bell peppers, mushroom, paneer and grilled pineapple.
The Polenta Table was a wonderful experience for my entire family. The quantity is enough to feed at least 5 people and is a must try if you are on the look out for some new food joint in Pune.

Chicken Polenta Table: Rs. 2400
Mutton Polenta Table: Rs. 3200
Smoked Olives: Rs. 200

They made a great polenta full of ingredients and in the end they ruined it all with the pesto and the marinara sauce together... Why? 😨 I heard also they cooked polenta with garlic. 🤔 Well not quite italian, but it is good for the desire that indians have of spicey flavors. Chefs transformed a bit the dish in order to make it more appetizing for indian taste, and I can understand it, but please if you just added all those ingredients, including chicken, sausages olives and mushrooms then don't exaggerate with adding pesto. A simply red tomato sauce with chili pepper, in marinara style, had satisfied any indian taste for spicy flavour. 🤗😎 I just hope they don't added americanized marinara made with onions, sage, coriander and oregano... 🤣🤣🤣
