The Jimny was the most hyped-up launch of last year, and since it was an export product before it was on sale in our shores, the Jimny enjoyed the benefit of having a pretty decent aftermarket before its launch. The Jimmy also had the added benefit of being super mod-friendly, running a low-compression 1.5L naturally aspirated engine from factory. It was only a matter of time as to when we would get to experience the Jimny’s full potential, and I'm happy to say that time has arrived, whats the Jimny like after its been supercharged!

@@royprotocol brother I respect your choice and i am not even criticizing any brand or product, even Jimny is the perfect blend of Power to Weight ratio, the only thing is that that to make it off road capable need to spend around 5 lakh to upgrade suspesion rims tires exhaust filter etc etc, perhaps regards gypsy just add aftermarket shocks, shakles rims and tires 1.5lc and ready to go... Both option are best in their category...getting jimny for15lc to 17lc adding more 4-5lc for making off road capable... Fir brand new vehicle off road me daalne ke liye people think... That exhaust sounds so sweet. That low bassy note is so much better than the mostly common "Crack and pop" nonsense, which after a while is quite irritating for the driver as well as other road users. In fact, I actually believe other drivers would in opposite love this sound than hate it. Nice project. Mature, elegant and cool. Loved it!😍 Just one question, can the supercharger be tuned to amplify the bottom end and midrange grunt? Lets face it, we are not gonna revv the nuts off the engine all the time.

So you think, NA and Turbocharged engine internals are same 😑 this NA engine isn't designed to be boosted unlike polo which is a turbocharged engine hence has far stronger engine internals, there is not even a point comparing a turbo vs NA internals in terms of tuning, everybody knows that a boosted engine would respond better to remaps. Also, I'm a Vento owner, both 1.6 MPI and a 1.0 TSI, both engines as well as their gearboxes are shit in terms of reliability.

​@@shree397Don't compare oranges to apples. The 2JZ came turbocharged from factory and is a 2.5 to 3 litre inline 6 cylinder engine. The Jimny is a inline 4 cylinder 1.5 litre engine. Also about your point on Vag engines making more power, a stage 2 VAG engine requires an equal if not more expenditure to strengthen the block and for a bigger capacity turbo charger. Watch the old videos on this very channel they have listed out the cost for a Stage 1,2 or 3 build of a VAG product. The Jimny is a off roader and it needs more torque than HP. That is exactly what this build is. Low end torque that will help in tricky off road situations.

MS engines might not be sone 2JZ(s) but it should be taken into consideration that these engines are reliable, very reliable and these cars are made to cater most masses not the handful of enthusiasts like us. Also, the TSI 1.0 is a very unreliable mill when tuned for almost 200bhp in stock avatar, have seen a few throw a rod, one with a spun journals, one with a fried head gasket, all these with less than 170bhp on wheels.

@@codenametremor My goodness you are highly uninformed, the 1L TSI was tested by VW themselves for up to 272hp, one of my feiend in the UK has a proper 200hp polo Mk5 built he dailies that car. Its just that our indian Tuners haven’t had the equivalent for it to make it reliable. That 1L TSI is extremely potent if tuned properly. Suzuki engines are workhorse at most and not like Honda engines where you can do insane numbers, Suzuki is a cheap car company not just in india but around the world.ITS A COLD HARD FACT
