F-35 is a 5th gen fighter jet. It has internal weapon bay to carry missiles while maintaining it's stealth. Tejas Mk2 will be 4.5th gen fighter jet that won't have internal bay for weapon. So it'll carry missiles externally. That's why it'd carry higher number of missiles. It's a bizarre comparision between F-35 & Tejas Mk2.

Sir, don't compare 4.5 Gen fighter with 5th gen fighter jets. American F35, F22, Chinese J20, Turkish KAAN, Russian Su57 are considered as a 5th gen fighter. Our AMCA could be comparable with them. Tejas mk1 is a light fighter jet and Tejas mk2 is medium catagory but 4.5 Gen fighter. Compare Tejas mk2 with American F16, Grepean of Sweden, JF17 of China, FA50 of South Korea - that will be fare enough. All fighter jets have some specific generation and specific catagory. Have you ever seen a 50 kg weight wrestler or boxer compete with 80 kg weight opponents in Olympics ?

Ridiculous comparison. F35 is the best Stealth Fight Jet in the market now. And carries all its missiles inside a hidden bay to prevent detection. Its a 5gen fighter. And Tejas is nowhere near that. Its not stealth at all. Against the F35 it would get shot without even knowing from where the missile got fired. The only way to handle it would be to overwhelm it.

Who ever comparing 5th gen vs 4.5 gen please understand that it is used for AIR to AIR combat now AESA-2 Radar can detect 5th gen Aircraft’s near 100km after detecting if you launch missile BVR missile it takes time to reach that aircraft we need minimum 200km range missile now SFDR technology which like meteor missile will be inducted soon with the range of 300km which is useful for this AIRCRAFT that’s why now Tejas mk2 is game changer for AIR-AIR combat with 8 missiles to counter Chinese j-20, India is working Infrared technology which has range of 100+ km for tejas mk2 then no stealthy plane can escape from this 🙏

First of all they are not comparable Tejasmk2 is comparable with F15EX which can carry 12 missiles but F15EX is mainly for air to ground so Tejas mk2 has edge here and most probably Tejasmk2 will also have a great edge in cost of aircraft. the main hurdle which Tejasmk2 will face will be restriction which US might impose on export of Tejasmk2 using F414 engine

The reality is even at the current production rate mark 1A delivery will take 2028 to 2029 to complete. Forget about mark 2 . HAL is seriously handicapped in terms of production capabilities. And in the case of AMCA HAL is looking for a private partner for two three years to develop a prototype but no success. But the KZbin channels won't tell you this . And about AMCA , problem is only Engine which India have manufacture from USA GE414 which have not been signed by USA till now due that AMCA program have been late. Amca with 2 engines can carry 4 missiles internally only. F35 is most advanced for a reason. Internal weapons bay and external hardpoimts are 2 totally different things. Sir, what are you comparing ???? a 5th gen stealth fighter F35 with 4th gen Tejas 😮😮😮😮. Tejas can’t even detect F35 even in close range. Both are different category aircraft’s 😮😮😮😮

1. Su-30mki can carry 10 BVR missiles , and American F-15EX can carry 22 BVR missiles. 2. Tejas mk2 is best in its LCA class which can carry 8 BVR missiles. Instead of comparing Tejas with other LCA like Gripen-E, you are comparing it with heavyweight F-35 which is wrong. 3. F-35 can carry 4 BVR inside internal bays. Tejas mk2 don't have internal bays so comparison with F-35 is wrong.
