That being said - this mentioned segment of your latest video in the series has put me in a weird blind - that Paratha is ironically named "Pitai Paratha" or "Peta Paratha" and is a huge staple over in South Bengal. My own hometown Tamluk has an unofficial patent for it and its popularity has made it migrate to Kolkata too for the close proximity of the places. In Tamluk though it's seen as a popular after-puja dish or an alternative to rice meals on a day of fasting. Despite not having any reason for it, somehow it has made for itself a place in the prasad section of our locality - to the point that it is always kept away from the contact of meat and eggs. My point of this info dump was - that it is now making me a little doubtful and guilty of enjoying "strange" food cultures seeing as just like with me one of these foods may hold a significant cultural value for someone else. Obviously, I am excluding the really weird ones of excessive chocolate dumping, noodle hybrids, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco confectionaries that make up the majority of your entries - but perhaps a few of the traditional ones can be a little researched if it is not an entirely unreasonable request? Regardless - thank you for your effortless job sir in influencing my daily life to a happier endpoint despite the concrete pressure exerted by the rigorous curriculum I am presently enrolled in. Hope you keep to your good health and continue your efforts to spread your positivity. Minor edit - Yup it's somewhere in Bengal for sure.
