Goldman Sachs, a big American investment bank, has recently shared an interesting report about the future of the world’s largest economies in 2075. According to their analysis, India is expected to become the 2nd largest economy in the world by that year, following China in the top spot.
Goldman Sachs, which was founded in 1869 and is the second-largest investment bank in the world, studied different factors to make this prediction. They looked closely at countries’ current GDP, population changes, technological growth, and other important trends like elections and policies.
In the report, China is predicted to be the largest economy in 2075 with a GDP of $57 trillion, thanks to its strong technological advancements and infrastructure development. India comes second, with a GDP of $52.5 trillion, driven by its young workforce, digital growth, and economic initiatives like "Make in India."
Here’s the list of the top 10 economies in 2075:
1. China - $57 trillion
2. India - $52.5 trillion
3. United States - $51.5 trillion
4. Indonesia - $13.7 trillion
5. Nigeria - $13.1 trillion
6. Pakistan - $12.3 trillion
7. Egypt - $10.4 trillion
8. Brazil - $8.7 trillion
9. Germany - $8.1 trillion
10. Mexico - $7.6 trillion
The report shows that several emerging countries, including Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakistan, will see strong growth due to their young populations and expanding sectors like technology, manufacturing, and services.
The report also indicates that countries like the United States, Germany, and Brazil will still remain important players in the global economy but may fall behind compared to the fast-growing nations of Asia and Africa.
