Hello, As far as I know, your immigration will be done at Ho Chi Minh as your first point of entry in a country is Ho Chi Minh. You have mentioned Hanoi as entry. I have seen couple of people in the past, they had the same issue but didn't face any issue.

Hello. You should add Ho Chi Minh as city of arrival. If you have a layover in Ho Chi Minh City before continuing to Phu Quoc, the visa authorities will expect you to enter through Ho Chi Minh City as it's the first point of entry into Vietnam. Once you arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, you can go through immigration procedures, and then proceed to your connecting flight to Phu Quoc. Thank you!

Just curious, why did you convert rupees to dollars from India and again converted them to dong in Vietnam? Isn't it possible to convert rupees to dong in Vietnam directly?

Good question. Actually, I was in dilemma which currency to carry. There were couple of reasons to carry USD. 1) It gets exchanged easily with good rate. 2) If it's left as I was left with 200 USD, I can use it in the next international trip. When I reached Hanoi. Just to check if I can convert INR to Dong. I went to a currency exchange, they denied to give me dong in exchange of INR. They said, no body will give you dong with INR if they give, you will get very less conversion rate. My Hanoi video will be posted in a week's time. I have explained the same in that video. Hope it helps.

I am not sure about it. Generally, it does not happen. You can try from another person's card. I don't think for Vietnam visa, you should pay 25USD extra. Also, please check if your card is open for international transactions. I am just guessing.

Visa pehle online lena padta hai. 4 working days lagte hai. Vietnam ki shop mai dollar nahi chalte. Apko dollars ko Vietnamese dong mai convert karwana padega. Insurance compulsary nahi hai. Bro. Mai Con dao to nahi gaya lekin maine abhi check kia hai. Apko India se Ho Chi Minh ki flight leni hogi aur phir waha se Con Dao ke lia flight.
