As far as the Grand Old Party is concerned, the story is an action replay. The centre cannot hold and things fall apart. The Gogoi-Hemant conflict brought it's downfall in Assam. Mamta-Munshi tussle in West Bengal. Kamal-Scindia tug of war in MP. Gehlot-Pilot split in Rajasthan. It had a narrow escape in Karnataka though such friction existed there as well. This problem will have some sort of solution only if the party comes to power at the centre, which is unlikely to happen in the near future.
