Recommendations to increase the attendance in I-league matches 1) Organise the I-league matches only on alternative days of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ISL Matches on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So Indian football fans can continuously enjoy the football action throughout a week. 2) Home venue of I-league team should be changed periodically within a state. For example, Gokulam Kerala can play other venues such as Trivandrum, Kochi, Calicut and Kannur other than Malappuram District. So that the team has to reach the fans closely. At last, the standard of stadium will be improved even in remote areas through Ticket revenue. 3) I-league teams should play with their local clubs intermittently in order to gain its popularity locally 4) Free Tickets should be allocated to below 18 teenagers 5) During pre-season, I-league team may travel to non-I league team states such as UP, MP, Bihar, Uttarkhand etc and play with local teams to promote football and even trip to neighbour country such Sri Lanka, Bhutan etc. Recommendations to increase the attendance during ISL Matches 1) Permit to play with other venues than home venue. Eg Mumbai City may change his home venue to Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur etc within Maharashtra periodically throughout the season. 2) Invite foreign popular football clubs from Europe, South America, Gulf countries etc and conduct Exhibition Match with ISL clubs 3) Allocate the Free Tickets to below 18 years old teenagers. 4) ISL club should travel to other countries and play with those clubs during preseason in order to gain popularity among those countries. 5) Make the ISL into Pan-India league. Most of Northern States do not take part.

Nagaland organised last year T AO trophy , inter district tourney and Naga Olympics and was streamed on YT . This season Nagaland played grt in Santosh trophy. Sadly they were in group of death with goa , assam , and Nagaland..... Only goa qualified. In another group both Delhi and Karnataka qualified due to lack of compitition. Anyway my point was if tournaments are streamed or broadcasted there is motivation for player to improve as they know they are being watched. Assam Nagaland and bihar were most improved team in this year Santosh trophy. Both mizo and Manipur disappointed me but 100 and 70 player from mani and mizo are playing in ISL and I leaque . The present team comprised of 7-8th best team of the state . Still they qualified to next stage. But west bengal looked the best with robi hansda and noro hori.

Issue is that once these players move from u17 level they get signed by isl franchises where they sit in the bench for majority of the year. This is the reason imo we need an u23 league, so that these players keep getting 1st team opportunities. Take Gurkirat Singh for an example, despite his brilliant performance in SAFF nd AFC u20 qualifiers hardly has he got chance in the starting 11 of Mumbai City FC.

We are a late risers in terms of football. However, we are in right direction. Some of the problems... 1. Concentration of and domination of particular sports. No level playing field. 2. Lack of infrastructure... Stadium. 3. In India everything is politicize 4. Lack of awareness in some parts of the country.. like western, northern, central India. 5. Cricket centric approach 6. Lack of financial support at the grassroots level 7. Parents attitude towards their child when it comes to football... You won't get anything from playing football, what if u get injury, focus on study blah..blah.. Suggestion... If we want our flag to be part of coming fifa events 1. Scouting system.. where at a very tender age talent could be recognise and moulded. 2. Financial incentives for study and sports so that burden could be lifted 3. Attitudinal change 4. Our senior team need more international exposure. 5. More friendly match for under 14'15'16'17 ...etc 6. Build more stadium at every location. 7. More brand ambassador. 8. More matches in ISL and I league. 9. Media should focus more on football.. live telecast etc. Our time will come.. HOPE for the future.
