After viewing all play events, my opinion is There is loophole in SAFF Committee management & Bangladesh Foot Ball Commissioner who lack capability and Game Rule, 1st why not extra play time when 90 minutes game was draw ? 2) Why not protest when Referee null the penalty caught by Bangladesh Goal Keeper, it should be verified whether valid or not. 3) Bangladesh Team Captain was assuming the coin toss was for extra time play, unaware of Final winning Toss. 4) Why India Team Refused to play extra time, India Team are Aware of loosing Game if they play extra time, Knowing that , Bangladesh was Consecutive Champion and they lost in the same points game and Fear of Loosing ! We Demand Bangladesh Commissioner and Foot Ball Committee are Responsible for unwanted dispute due to lack in Management for which inquiry is necessary to avoid future unseen problems.

Context : According to the tie-breaker rule after 5 penalties are taken by each team and the score is equal then in sudden death both teams take one penalty shot turn by turn until a result is determined.This is the international law. Referee 'Anjana rai' wanted to carry on the sudden death. The ball was placed in the spot and the bangladeshi captain also was going ahead to take another penalty.But the Sri - lankan match commissioner 'De silva joysurija dilan' suddenly decided to do a coin toss to determine the winner.The toss was done very quickly by calling both the team captains.India starts celebrating after winning the toss.Later the bangladeshi team officials protest about the coin tossing.After a long time the Match commissioner announces himself that the coin toss was his wrong decision and that sudden death will occur again.Indian team protest intensely against this announcement by exiting the field.Match referee took the decision to wait 30 mins for the indian team to return to the field. But the indian team did not return to the field. Waiting time went from 30 mins to more than 2 hours. The waiting finally stopped when the stage was being setted in the field. Both teams are announced as joint champion. All this happened because of a single mistake of the match commissioner that stained the under-19 final with dispute and unwanted situations.After the match (SAFF) general secretary annowarul haque helal said and I quote "The whole incident happened because of the match commissioners unwanted mistake.SAFF will not take reponsibility for it". He further said about their involvement, " After a long discussion india agreed about the joint champion.We also presented three alternatives to india-- 1) participating in the sudden death again. 2)joint championship. 3)playing the final again India accepted the joint championship for SAFF's sake" Also to note the joint championship is not present in the bylaws of SAFF but for the greater good they had to take this decision. Source - prothom alo (paid one) Personal opinion - I think the coin toss was the whole mistake it should never have taken place as there is no rule about it and india could have taken to participate in the sudden death. It was very weird to see them exit the field instead of dealing this in a proper manner also people saying the fans have reacted badly. The indian players didnt (some not all) show any professionlism booing the fans with the thumbs down when a out of rule coin toss just announced the winner and you think the fans will throw flowers at you? Stuff like this is pretty normal in the foreign leagues. Still happy that it ended nicely and fairly.

although it’s match commissioners fault but the way crowds were reacted was disgusting i’m a bangladeshi but more than that a football fan and regardless of confusion and mess which was created by ref i was worried about indian girls safety coz this r teenagers who came to represent their country and we as a host we treated them like this. extremely disappointed by crowd behaviour. no sportsmanship nor professionalism from both team and officials of SAFF/BFF. we will never achieve anything with this attitude.

India shouldn't have collected the trophy. Just to satisfy the local public they declared joint winners. If they didn't agree to the toss decision should have protested before the toss. Just bcz the toss decision didn't go their way, there players, officials started protesting, fans started abusing our players, hurling anti India chants, throwing bottles & other stuffs from the stands. If they would have won the toss all these things wouldn't have happened. India should have just handed over the trophy & immediately took a flight returned home that would have been better. Our players life were at risk. Don't know why these guys hate us so much. It was evident in the recently U19 WC match where they showed over aggression & again today. At this point i feel India shouldn't play with them in any sports. From now on AIFF should make sure these type of tournaments shouldn't happen in that country further & if it happens India shouldn't visit there.Shameful behaviour, unsportsmanlike.
