India votes: Polls close in 4th phase of elections

The fourth of seven phases in India's staggered general election has closed. Ninety-six constituencies spread across nine states and one union territory went to the ballot box on May 13, including the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. But all eyes are on Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the first major election in the region since it was stripped of its special status in August 2019.
