Congratulations on the house. About kids, you don't have to do anything you are not ready for. Whether you have kids or not, how old you will be when you start trying, and all that jazz. It's 100% your and your husband's choice. Don't let anyone pressure you into something you are not ready for.

Congrats on the house! 🎉 Back in late 2020, we found out we were pregnant with our first. We weren’t planning, but we accepted the start of our family growth. In June 2021, she was stillborn six days before her due date. After that, we were adamant on having another and now our rainbow girl is 7 months old. Experiencing living motherhood now, we found out that each parent needs to be 100% ENTHUSIASTICALLY ready. I think the only reason we’ve survived postpartum is because of that. While parenthood is so rewarding, it’s also so demanding and such a life change. Until you both feel enthusiastically ready, enjoy your marriage as a family of two and the independence of a childfree life! 😊

Getting a breast reduction was the best thing I ever did for myself. I had mine 18 years ago and have never regretted it for a moment. It was a literal weight lifted off my shoulders, not to mention how much better they look with the lift. I knew adoption would be in my husband and my future, so I had my reduction at a young age. That being said, my husband and I were married for 11 years before adopting. I like that we had so many years together before adding kids. But for some, waiting that long can make the adjustment harder when kids come along. I grew up hearing my mom say she felt pressured into having kids right away and she wished that she had waited, so I allowed myself the time. Using onion juice as a pre-poo greatly reduced my shedding. It slows down the growth/shedding cycle. But like accutane, if you stop using it, the hairs that slowed down in shedding will then shed. Some people’s hair holds onto the onion smell even after shampooing and conditioning. I can smell it when my hair is wet, but once I apply stylers and dry my hair, I can’t smell it anymore.

I have both sides of the coin as I'm younger than my guy. My mom was young (hello 21/22) when she had me. She was a grandma at 51. My child's other grandma was 74. I've always been the person who marches to their own drum. Nobody else is going to decide for me when I'm having kids, or if I can wear my side part or my skinny jeans, okay? Lol. I appreciate you sharing and the best of luck. You've made me really appreciate my wavy hair with your awesome guidance.

Hey girl. I was a very full dd and had a reduction to a b-c cup. BEST DECISION EVER! No more expensive bras to minimize and harness up the puppies and also the clothes you will be able to wear afterwards. LIFE CHANGING. no more shoulder, neck, back pain, indentions of the bra strap in ur shoulder, NOTHING! Best pain I ever felt. You won't regret it🙂 I wasn't able to have kids, so I can't speak on that aspect of it. I'm 44 and had mine at 30.

I was completely ready when we decided to start trying for our baby. During pregnancy, I definitely had periods where I was like " ohmygosh, who let me make this decision? What adult let this happen" (I was 30, definitely the adult 😬). And so many similar moments during those early months. Now she's 21 months, and all three of us have found our stride and it's truly beautiful. But my husband and I have been together since we were 19, and it took us alllll through our 20s to hit the point where we both felt like it was the right time. Your intuition is good 🩵

So proud of you and Daniel on the new house! That wood hutch and the island counter finish is GORGEOUS! I NEED THAT PANTRY. Your hair looks so beautiful! EvaNYC does need a gel! But hey, I totally understand the dryness you’re getting from accutane. I’ve never taken that but I also dealt with some dryness as well when I was on acne medication. Lastly, on the kids situation: please do not let anyone pressure you and Daniel into having kids! That decision is btwn you and him only! It’s nobody else’s business and I know that you’re smart enough to weigh the options/get advice from your doctor/obgyn. You’re already very well informed! My understanding with the main reason people wait for breast reductions until after kids is because the glands required for milk production and lactation get cut so you are no longer able to breastfeed after a reduction. This may have improved with new surgical techniques and obviously ask your surgeon if you decide on surgery but that’s what I have heard as to why people often choose to wait! Thank you for being so open and honest!! You’re videos are encouraging to so many of us!! 😍🥰

I just had a breast reduction and lift four weeks ago. I waited until after kids and nursing, which I don't regret, however, I was so big, 34F, that when my milk came in I was an H and literally my boob was twice the size of my babies heads. It was very difficult to breastfeed due to the size. Again, I don't regret it but girl, breastfeeding in public with a little blanket over you is NOT happening! 😂 I am recovering now, a 34C. It is a big decision and the recovery is long but so far I am glad I did it. I may be too close to really say but I tried on a spaghetti strap dress and almost cried. No bra. Words cannot explain.

Hi India, CONGRATULATIONS on the new home! Take your time to enjoy moving in and setting everything up. I knew when I was very young that I did not want to have children. When I met my husband to be and things started to get serious, I made sure he knew that. For him coming from a family of 8 children plus being raised with a few cousins, he was the oldest so he was fine with that. As soon as we got married the questions started about when we were going to start a family and when I would say we were not having any, you could see that look, like what kind of people are we and then of course the statement, oh you'll change your mind which did not happen. ENJOY your life and set your own paths. Everything will come in good time as God knows the path he has for you both so don't stress. We are all here for you and enjoy you sharing your life and honesty with us! Thank you for all the great reviews!

India! Congrats on your new house it’s beautiful! As a long time follower and a lactation consultant. Real talk -sister to sister, wait on the reduction til after kids. I work with many mamas that wish they would have waited, it breaks my heart for them not to have the opportunity. Of course do what you think will make you happy! It’s still possible to breastfeed with a reduction but you may not reach full milk supply. The longer it’s been since reduction (in years) the higher chance that you may be able to breastfeed. Still a 50/50 chance you may or may not. Trust me the pressure I’ve seen moms go through is ridiculous and experiencing myself. I am a huge proponent of doing whatever feeding method is going to work for you, even if it’s formula. I’m so thankful for formula. Happy healthy mom is better that a miserable struggling one. Anyways, enjoy your new home and being you! ❤

Hi! I'm a rare KZbin commenter but this is something I've been passionate about for the last 20 years of my life. I just got a breast reduction 4 weeks ago and it was honestly the best thing I've done. I feel so much weight has been lifted off of me both physically and emotionally. I feel like I have the body that I was always meant to. I've looked forward to your videos because you're a fit woman like me with large breasts that aren't always proportional to our bodies. I appreciate all of your previous bra videos and honestly feel excited that you are considering a breast reduction! Many people don't understand the struggle of larger breasts. The conversation about breastfeeding is always interesting because with nature, there's always that 50/50 chance that you may not even be able to breastfeed with or without a procedure. I'm of the mindset to do what makes you feel happy in the present because too many of our decision are based on "what ifs" in the future. Lastly, the way procedures are done now are much more advanced than they were several years ago...These babies aren't going anywhere 😂 good luck to you! hope you get your clarity soon and congratulations on your home! Sorry, one last thing. If you have a breast reduction before children and things change, who says you can't get another one? 🙌

Don’t let people pressure you into starting something your aren’t ready for. This is your life and your choice. I had a family member try to pressure me into having kids but I’m like you cousin and didn’t want them. My husband and I have been married 32 years and we believe not having children is a blessing. I have been feeling the same pressure of having babies. It's funny because I got married around the same time as you, and I feel like at first people said "take your time don't rush into having kids!" But now it's like... Apparently been enough time to where people question it. So I've been comparing myself to my parents who started young, my similarly aged friends who already have kids, and wondering if I should start trying earlier because I may run into complications. I finally had to sit down and be honest with myself and God about my feelings, that pressure, etc. And I felt like He spoke the word "wait". And at that moment I stopped comparing, feeling worried, that pressure lifted. So, I wish the same for you! That you find peace with where you're at and knowing that your life is beautiful and each season is full of love, life, purpose. Enjoy them for what they are. 🖤 P. S. I also love how supportive the girlies in this community are. That's so special, India! You fostered the environment for that love to thrive. 🥹

I had a breast reduction curtesy of the army (I was 32HHH) at 23. I went down to DD and it was good, rip it wasn’t. First, they sewed me too tight and I bust my stitches open just lifting my arms above my head to detach the shower head! Secondly, I can no longer exclusively breast feed due to them cutting through so many milk ducts. Each baby has been a bit better but not where I wanted to be. This breaks me as breastfeeding is something I wanted to be able to do above anything as a mum. 😢 I say, wait if you plan on breast feeding. If not, go ahead as the back relief and confidence boost is amazing.

Thanks for sharing, India! Love your new house!!! I can share that I resonate a lot with your "is it time for children" talk. I just turned 30, and as a kid, I also adored young moms and thought I'd love to be one. I actually married my incredible husband that is also my highschool sweetheart (married only 2 years ago but non religious, so kids were considered an option much earlier). So we basically had everything "laid out" for us to have kids young, however we realize we actually don't feel it now, and we want to have a good reason to have them. I think our world is complex, and if we're going to introduce new souls into it we would like to make sure that we give them a really good life, that their parents are patient and loving towards them, can provide for them, and that we ourselves are still happy as a couple. For us, we just tell people who ask us "when are you having kids" that we currently just know that "now we don't". It might shift with time, but this is were we are at and we shouldn't apologize for that any more. I also feel you with your mom getting older, we both are the youngest in our families and so our folks are 65+! And still, we know that it's not a good reason for us, on its own, to have them. Kids deserves parents that wanted them and love them❤

I didn’t do a breast reduction in my early 30s because I was also told to wait until after having kids. I had my only child at age 41, and for various reasons I couldn’t breast feed. Then life got crazy busy, and I didn’t have my reduction until I was 58. By this time I had 2 frozen shoulders, and permanent cervical damage…I waited too long. It was an incredibly hard surgery, and took 2 years to feel normal, but I finally feel free, and normal. Instead of H+, I now have small Ds and fit into clothing, and no longer have 10/10 pain. Because my reduction was so large, it was very difficult, but the pain reduction has made it worthwhile.

You and your husband will know when to start your family so draw support from one another when the subject comes up to early for you two. Have a special look, or mannerism you two agree on that says “I got you babe” its just so important you two pick the time. Breast reduction: Please research it thoroughly including breast feeding that it might change. Talk to other young and older women that have gone through the procedure over the last 10 years and hear what they liked and didn’t like or regretted. India I am so happy for you. You were the very first youtube channel I ever followed starting because of your hair videos and now just because I just adore you.We have so much in common. I am also the girl with the poofy hair, not in the wavy girl club, yet not in the curly care club. We have our own club. My mom also had me late in life (44),, I am also large chested (34G). Thank you for turning me on to Wacoal bras. I went to Soma forever and their bras were just not made with the same quality as Wacoal. Also thinking about a reduction because of back issues and also a fan of Eva 10 in 1. It reminds me so much of The Wizard by Amika but so much more affordable. Have kids when your ready. Don't let anyone pressure you. I am much older than you (52) and would adopt you if I could. Maybe you could be my niece lol. But the main I wanted to say, you ARE WORTHY!

Do the reduction ASAP. Best decision I ever made. Wish I had done it way sooner. Life Changing. I did it before kids because I wanted to be comfortable & "perky" or whatever while I was younger & be able to have fun with bathing suits & stuff. I figured after kids I wouldn't care as much as I did before them.

I’m 28 and my mom is 61 as well! My babe is going to be 1 soon and this is my moms first grand baby. I think as long as your moms healthy, there’s no rush to give her a grand baby before a certain time!

🙋🏻♀️ breast reduction 8 years ago AFTER kids and not because of the breastfeeding aspect (I did not breastfeed my second baby). I was a 32G before my reduction and I decided to wait until I was done because that is where I gain and hold weight and I'm assuming you're the same way. I knew every pregnancy could and most likely would be a different experience and weight gain is one of them. Before getting pregnant the first time I was a 32F so I went up a full size after my second was born. I worked my ass off leading up to my surgery to be the healthiest and strongest so recovery would be "easier" and I lost weight and inches everywhere but my breasts. With all that said it was the best decision, absolutely zero regrets. My life is forever changed, physically and MENTALLY! I am now a 32D which I was hoping leading up to surgery I'd be smaller but honestly I look so proportional! And bonus, I can buy bras anywhere now and they won't cost me an arm and a leg 😂 **One last thing I failed to mention! Just because you have a reduction does not mean they can't grow back! Waiting until after pregnancy (for me) made sense because I most likely wouldn't be gaining excessive weight in a short amount of time again. Fitness has become a huge part of my life and I'm praying my breasts never go back to what they were! I hope this helps at least one person reading. I'm open to answering any questions if anyone has any!

thanks for sharing this! I am in my early thirties and still contemplating.. I wish I had this done when I first wanted it (since I was 17....), but now my partner and I are thinking about starting a family so I've decided to wait and see what that does to my body :) Your post really confirmed what I was thinking!

@@xoxo_ann I'm glad I was some help! I wanted it done since high school as well but knew I had to be patient for a bit for it to be successful. Hopefully in the future the timing will align just right and you can start this journey!

You may have Covid hair loss (or Telogen Effluvium). My dermatologist says it’s a phenomenon right now. It is only temporary and lasts about 6 months. I have it as does my mom. Fortunately the shedding has slowed for us.

It’s true! You’ll never feel ready. Once you have your first tho.. then you will start to get that feeling a LOT. You will absolutely get baby fever. But it takes 9 months to have one so you will be plenty ready once you make that jump 😄 plus it’s exciting. Pull that goalie! Have a good time, you don’t need to try hard. & you never know when God will bless you with a baby. It might take awhile, it might be your first time. Either way after you get that positive you will be head over heels ❤️

You go girl!! Woohoo 🎉 congrats to you and your husband. I think you will know when you are ready to have kids. I did. I think the saying goes more toward where you are in life rather than the internal feeling of being ready to become a mom. Enjoy your time as an independent because after children you will forever carry the worry and love for your dependents. The pressures and opinions only rev up after becoming a mom also which is challenging so enjoy your now. Sending love 💕 Also, what eyeliner do you use? It looks amazing and easy to apply.

Great video! I’ve watched so much of your videos especially the ones about bras. Those were life savers. As for kids… Just know God is in control and has it all planned out according to His will.❤ My husband and I got married at 26 yrs old. I am now 33 yrs old and almost done nursing our third and last baby. Im now a 32DDD, 5’3 size 2… so my breasts just feel so disproportionate to my body. I’ve always had larger breast but when I got pregnant they were another level. The largest they got were a 34H during those first couple of months of nursing. I’ve thought about getting a breast reduction so much! Hugest thing for me is the sagginess of them. So I look forward to seeing how it goes for you!

Congrats to you and your hubby on the new house! It is beautiful! Wishing many happy days and memories there. You look beautiful in this video, as always. It's correct that you never really feel 'ready to have kids, but they are a blessing for God, and I think you should embark on that journey in the next year :) You will make a great Mom!

Too much dry shampoo can cause hair to shed also. Use more natural way like to get rid of oil in you hair with Corn Starch.

So happy for you and your new home! I had a breast reduction after I had my children. For me, it was a great decision. I agree with other comments that having children should be when you and your husband are ready. Your mom is still young! The older I get, the more I know how true the statement is that says age is just a number! Best wishes! Do more hair videos with the thin hair products once you find all of your equipment! Hugs!

Have you had Covid? It absolutely destroyed my hair, I have a little more than half of the hair I had 5 months ago. I had to cut my hip length wavy hair to my shoulder blades myself, then will go to a pro for a shorter cut, just at the shoulders. I have to let my hair restart so it grows out more evenly if it does. Hope your hair gets back to normal soon!

Telogen Effluvium - excessive hair shedding. I had it after I had covid, and I totally feel you on wanting to cry every time you wash you hair. I didn't take any selfies for the longest time. If you don't feel ready for kids then you're not ready. Though out my relationship with my husband we have had pregnancy scares and that "Oh crap" moment is scary! And I thought how will I know when I am ready? I feel like when I was late by 9 days and cried when the test was negative - that's when I knew I was ready.

India! You look SO happy in the new house and I’m so happy for you! Try not to worry about the whole baby topic. I think there is an unfair expectation of women to have babies at a certain age or point in their life, and that shouldn’t be the case. You and Daniel should do whatever makes both of you happy❤

Congrats on the house, it’s beautiful! As for littles, we weren’t sure we wanted kids. We were intentional about listening to Gods voice only on this topic, and His timing (as always) was perfection! As for the hair primer…did you/would you use this with a separate curl cream? I’m always in search of that Goldilocks of fine hair pre-stylers!

I 1000% can relate to you in having the pressure to have kids asap because of older parents. Both my parents are older than 60 and my dad has alzheimer's so i feel like i should be having kids now so he gets the chance to have grandchildren and so my kids can kniw him somewhat, but 28 feel way to soon to have kids for me. But then if i do have kids later in life then i feel the guilt of having to put them through what I'm going through with having older parents so young. Idk its such a tough spot to be in

Girl, you have easyly 10 years to get pregnant and even more! 35 years mark is a buls***t lie, women had always had kids into their late 30 early 40! It's the business of frosting our eggs that started to spread this lie of 35. Ask around about your grandparents and their friends. As for being "old" parent... It all depends on how do you feel. Because you can have a kid at 40 and live to be 90 and independent, you can have a kid at 19 and die at 50. You can't predict life... So have kid when you feel like it, as a 28yo you should have ZERO pressure from time girl! Lots of love (I'm 34 and maybe I'll have kids or not, atm I'm having too much health problems, but I still have time) ❤️

As a catholic who just got married back in Oct I definitely felt the pressure initially to try to have a baby asap . Of course my husband and I are open to babies asap - which was something that had to be agreed on before we got married in the church.

I would never tell someone what to do, but just a piece of advice. If you want kids, don't wait too long. Things happen. Hubby and I were both 27 when we got married. We waited a year or so to start a family. It took 6 or 7 months to get pregnant. Then I ended up having a miscarriage. It took another year to get pregnant again. We were just about ready to start having some fertility testing done because it was taking a while. My first son was born when I was 31. I never went back on birth control, and it took four years to get pregnant again! My second son was born when I was 36. At age 35, they start calling it high risk pregnancy because more things can go wrong when you're older. Also, there was a world of difference between my two pregnancies. Being pregnant at 31 was fine. At 36, I was EXHAUSTED because I had a newborn and also a 5-year-old to care for. Originally, I wanted to have four kids, but we ran out of time. I wish we had met when we were younger and started our family sooner. Women seem to think they have forever to have kids, but there's a smaller window of time than you realize. Also, have a boob reduction post babies. Even if you don't breastfeed, pregnancy affects your body in many different ways. Good luck!
