@@Indiahikes Thank you so very much for responding to my request really appreciated, since I am retired I have plenty of time and patience, to plan, to save, and to get fit, the adventage with a group is you hike light as you dont have to carry your tent or food (hopefully I am correct in with the food and tent), in case of emergency you have the group for support (I am from the south so I wont have language problem and laughed at) and moreover you make new friends, (hopefully by then this terrible Virus dissappear) once again thank you so very much, in the meantime to all those at "Indiahikes" stay healthy, stay safe (Ps I really do enjoy all your informative videos which I had bassically discovered few weeks ago)

Been there .. done that. Sliding down the snow wall is an easier, faster and more thrilling experience than walking down the very narrow slippery mountain face across the ghati and then the very interesting 2 hour long walk hopping and jumping over the rocks. Fun nevertheless.

You'll be able to see greenery with lots of wildflowers towards the end of May and till the end of June. :) It's one of the best times to do the trek.

Nowadays it's not challenging at and quite easy as there are teams of porters to do the heavy lifting , team of people who are setting up the tents and cooking your food . It's more like a walk or hike than a trek.

IH sucks. Please.don't get carried away by the video and how things are being presented. If you really want to experience any trek look for local trekking firms.IH isn't flexible and will you will feel as if trek is a punishment.
