I can't write off shankar like 🤡 Lawrence and sundar c coz Vigilante theme was something that touched every common man. One day c.m., corruption at all level, etc were never touched by any other director. It's reached pan india. The theme was result of frustration at grass root level to top layer. Shankar lost the who vision when he strayed out to show granduer sets and songs instead of content and story. I, 2.0, boys, jeans, were non vigilante movies but had no strong story line to invest in. Looked glitter and shining but deep inside it was hollow.

I think Kamal is the only reason for this Indian 2 .. He wanted to use this movie for his political entry . this movie started aroud BiggBoss Season1 even Shankar explained the same in some interview that he is not had any story line for Indian 2 .. kamal only insisted him to do so :(
