Finally, I'm here in Northeast India and I spend my first day in Guwahati, Assam. I met my Guwahati sweeties and had Assamese Thali together and I visited my friend's home to try Homemade Assamese food.

Koreans/Japanese have an easier time pronouncing Assamese words because both are based on a very syllable based pronunciation. Mu-son-do-ri. Almost sounds Japanese. Jun-bi-ri. Sounds very Korean. Etc etc

@@stynershiner1854 This generally happens when u r a hard core BTS fan. Bruhh there r even videos on KZbin where a korean girl n a tamil guy reciting words which have similar pronounciation n meanings in both Korean n Tamil languages🤣. Similar comparison can be found for Japanese n Sanskrit etc too

Did you get the chance to go to MG road near the banks of Brahmaputra, good place to have tea in the evening and just take a walk along the banks of Brahmaputra. Plus the bamboo chicken is also famous

u look so pretty in traditional Assamese dress.If u want to explore more of northeast state than u should visit Arunachal, mizoram, manipur but it wont be as modern as guwahati u will get to see more of countryside experience

@@AwsmNik thats true. but the variety of Indian food I can get back home, that is not there in the US. you wont get assamese food, bengali food, maharashtrian food over here. it would be very difficult to find them. you can get roti sabzi, paneer, dosa, sambar. but thats usually everything

@@Meggykim A trip to Assam wouldn't be complete without going to famous spots like the island of Majuli and visiting the local tribes in Assam like the Mising tribe (try Mising Kitchen in Guwahati), Bodoland area, going to upper Assam in Sivsagar to see the historical sites of the Ahom Empire (the Ahoms came from South China), to learn about its history might remind you of home in East Asia.

Pork is our trival and traditional food cause assamese and other states of indian people don't like to eat pork. We trival people serve pork as main food to guest.
