Plofker in "Mathematics in India" confirms that Aryabhata didn't propose a heliocentric model. Also in Europe, Aristarchus of Samos affirmed heliocentric theories in 230 bce. Moreover, what is said about Latin in Europe is misleading. Latin stopped being used as a vernacular in the late antiquity. But it kept being used both in the writing and as a spoken language by all the cultural elite up until the modern time. (Newton, Galilei, Spinoza, Leibniz, Euler, Gauss all wrote in latin). The same is true for many classical languages, like Greek and Sumerian which have been used for centuries and millennia after being replaced by other languages in the vernacular.

Aryabhatta propounded a geocentric model and not a heliocentric model of the Solar System
