Buying F 35 for IAF would take Indian foreign policy under US whips . Sanction , that India faced earlier after PokhranII , had delayed several Military & Civil projects. A sanction after purchase of f 35 would made them useless. Also you must think where to use F 35s. PAF is no match for IAF’s present inventory. But they have eyes on Chinese j20 jets and it will give moral victory over China too.

Sir pls answer my question I am too confused . In a recent update Israel is acquiring 25 F-35 fighters for 3 Billion dollars . And India acquiring 31 MQ-9B drones for like 4 billion dollars ? There are lot of natural resources in indian ocean and china wants that. Defence agreements with maldives proves that china wants to station here. Overall the defences of india should have some regiments of army navy and air force stationed closest to maldives so as to give reply incase of any misadventure. And the snake maldives is going to turkey pakistan china and all brotherly country for help. Sorry to say but india should not support financially businesswise tourismwise and any sort of help to maldives. If they dont have it let maldives have it at double the cost from their brotherly countries. India is covered by snakes from all sides. Maldives sri lanka pakistan china bangladesh.
