Why DD India can’t aspire to be at least as powerful as AlJazeera! ? As a small country as Qatar, is running it effectively. This kids need to understand Geopolitics is in better practical way. Forget about global power, India is near 50 years will not be a Asian power. Both US and china see india as a swing state and a balancing state between two big powers. I do appreciate the kind of multi engagements this govt is doing in last few years but just securing your national interest or says strategic autonomy will lead us to global hegemon is a far dream. Look, India and china started the development journey after independence at same time ie. 1947 & 1949. But what we see at end of 20th century is China is beating india in every spheres. MY WHOLE POINT IS UNLESS INDIA DOMESTIC POLITICAL & SOCIAL SYSTEM IS BETTER OFF TODAY. INDIA CAN'T INSPIRE TO PLAY OR HEDGE AT INTERNATIONAL REALM.
