Sir education purpose ke liye theek hai, but CBSE is so much fucked up, they really want us to believe that they actually did some things positively. SAU BURAIYON KO EK SO CALLED ACHHAI KE PEECHE NAHI CHHUPA SAKTE... sabse pehli baat, we were the largest economy of the globe in the ancient era, par unfortunately we had been constantly suffering from terorists and invaders. For almost 1000 years. By the time Britishers came, we were all already a depleted economy because of mughal, turkis and Persian terrorists. Infrastructure ki baat karein toh HUMARE KAI HAZARO SAAL PURANE MANDIR AAJ BHI WAHI KHADE HAI JAHA THE, again unfortunately, hazaro mandir desh bhar me tode gye. Administration, Jurisdiction, warfare tactics, economy, sex education, basic education, har cheez already full fledgedly active thi Bharat mein, unhone kuch naya introduce nahi kara.. Humse hi cheen kar hume hi nayi thali mein paros diya, aur bol diya ki humari dish hai. I SERIOUSLY HATE THE INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM!!

Though your point is worth noting let me tell you that gold and silver coins weren't distributed to the entire economy. Most of the exchange happened in barter. Just like today limited people had limited access to gold at that time to. Thats why we see the historic people hiding gold in deep holes due to its appreciating value and limited access
