All this bad stuff happened. We must not forget it. However, the prosperity and happiness of a nation depend more on the education level, work ethic and spirituality of its people alive today than on what bad people did to them in the past. Since India is clearly rising, it is better to dwell on that and make it happen as soon as possible. Also, let us not forget that there were many Western historians who were sympathetic to India and recognized its merits. Marinating in bitterness will abort India's rise. I am confident that Hindus will mostly avoid this, thanks to the spirit of Hinduism. And Christianity does have it good side but it tends to remain hidden and private. Since I dwell in both worlds, I know this is true. The people who make a splash in history are often the aggressive ones.

There is no doubt that most Europeans (Christians or Ex Christians!) are good humans!! This is despite the pack of wolves & crimes against India/Hindus & humanity that European Christianity has produced!! Of course!! Christianity has it's good side BUT in India, much of Asia & Africa, Christianity is lost in the fraudulent proselytizing/conversion activities against poor Hindus as well as native cultural genocide carried on by the European Church & it's supporters!! It's imperative & evident that A-Dharma or evil thoughts & elements who are like dust need to be sanitized & cleaned from society!!

I agree that Bharat came up with a lot of wonderful things but I think this presentation should cite more scholarly sources to support its stand. How do we know some of the things mentioned were not _independently rediscovered_ by the West? I'm also not sure if Jesus and Mohamed wouldn't have taken kindly to all the terrible things done in their name. Jesus actually said, "I'm not bringing peace, but a sword." Some scholars have also examined Islam and found it to be at heart a violent religion. Certainly many verses in the _Quran_ are very violent.

Mo had waged many wars to spread Islam. History is witness to how Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey , Syria became Islamic nations. Christ did not wage wars. But its " Spread the Gospel" led many of its followers to crusades, wiping out of the ancient civilizations like the Greek, Roman, Mayan, Aborigines of Australia and Mauris of NZ. Even African lament that they lost a lot with the spread of Christianity in the region.
