I just watched your first video. You two are soooooooo different now. In the first video I'm sure the car ride was very "cheech and chong". 😂😂. Hey, you should get a pair of really long oars and a drum so you can take turns rowing the boat and beating the drum. 🙂 Or you could get a long rope with a harness and take turns swimming and towing the boat.

Hi guys David from Rona in Nongsa. Very happy to hear your plans. It is very sensible. I also travel with my wife and a baby and even in Indonesian waters things can go pear shaped. I lost a good friend on the route last year. You both have had a lot of experience sailing but I would like to warn you about this crossing. Don’t be guided by weather routers who send you south. Take a conservative route. Everything will break. Be prepared. Take plenty of water. You will get there. Just don’t go south seeking winds. Weather routers will send you this way from the comfort of their armchai. Current will take you across. Be safe and conservative

These drones seem to meet a watery grave with consistent regularity. Surely at least one manufacturer makes one that floats. Have you considered glueing a ping pong ball to the underneath of each rotor arm. This would only work with drones that have a low profile underneath and were on the lighter side. Add another ball if more floatation needed. Would be cheap to test it out.

Sorry to hear about the drone. Consider getting a cheaper DJI, get the cheapest one. In the U.S, We've had our famous sextuplets lol.
