Given the history between the two countries and the stuff that people can unknowingly bring across the border, indian officials have a duty to keep people safe. Border checks are carried out by all countries especially when travelling to/from hostile countries, nothing new.

Today, I read the news that a pilgrim to Kartarpur wanted to sneak into Pakistan to be with her love from Pakistan but the security foiled their little plan. I would request all such people that please use the legal way. We do not want be a hindrance between the hearts but it should be done legally and I'm sure there's a legal way. This corridor is for pilgrims and it is sacred so please respect. A lot of respect and love for all pilgrims. You're welcome and enjoy :). You can film, take pictures however you wish and as many as you wish, and people are doing that all the time there. Please check at your end, it might be something related to Indian rules on crossing an international border perhaps? They might have different rules depending upon their requirements but there is no pabandi humari side se.
