Punjab was most brutally divided by Radcliffe like a butcher. Two districts where Muslims were in majority were awarded to India. The East Punjab Muslims were slaughtered and forced to leave everything in their homes including my family. I was one year old then. 100 % Muslims of East Punjab migrated to Pakistan and rebuild their lives. Muslims in UP stayed mostly in India and about 1/4th migrated to Pakistan but they too started their lives afresh in Pakistan.!
