In the first version the girl is engaged to her cousin i guess but develop feelings for the main male character she couldnt bear the fact tht she was being unloyal to her current fiance so she fell into a severe fever and passed away from it

But later she found she's in love with him too. If you have time then i will recommend you to watch this serial. Totally worth it.!
