Ok so a few things. Allah/God has created 3 types of beings: Angels, Jinn and Humans. The angels are made of noor and are beings that obey the commands of allah. they have no free will and they simply do what they are told by God. There are milllions of angels and actually every human has 2 angels constantly with them. one records bad deeds and the other records the good deeds done all through life. that is basically your book of deeds that will be read by God on the day of Judgement. Now aside from these angels that are with humans, there are 4 big angels that carry out some important tasks for Allah. One of the angels is Angel Jibreel/Gabriel is the angel that brought the message of the Quran to the prophet Muhammad and all the previous prophets including Moses and Jesus( You will see Gabriel mentioned in the bible for christians). So to answer your question...prophet Muhammad used to go to a cave that was located outside of the Mecca city just for relaxation and to get away from the city life. In that cave is where the angel gabriel came to him and told him to "Read". (You can read up on this event, just google cave of hira story). Muhammad (saw) was 40 years old at that time. So this is basically how the quran was revealed. the angel jibreel would bring the exact words of Allah and recite them to the prophet muhammad who would memorize it and relay the message to his people. they were not the words of the angel, the angel is simply a servant and just relayed Allahs message to the prophet. On the day of judgement humans and jinn will both be held accountable for their deeds as both jinn and humans have free will and hence ability to make right and wrong decisions. Angels are not going to be held responsible for anything on the day of judgement as they have no free will and simply do what Allah commands them to do.

Let me tell you in simple words, Hazrat jibrael AS ( Angel) was always sent by Allah to our prophet Muhammad (SAW) and he narrated Quran to prophet (SAW). Then he ( SAW) deliver those verses to his companions. And they wrote all those verses. Then after the death of our Prophet (SAW), his companions gathered all those written verses and compile a book. That's how Quran as a book came into existence. Second, yes those people who are actually good but don't believe in the oneness of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would not enter into jannat.

Quran was sent by Allah on Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and an angel Hazrat Jibrael ( peace be upon him) was sent by Allah to narrate quran to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The ayats/sentences were written than by the people of Arab and protected from any discrepancy. And one thing for your clarity Quran is the only book in this world who has no mistakes because Allah himself took the responsibility of this book. This also makes it believable as compared to Bible or other holy books. You can verify the facts also. Even your guru was also impressed by Islam. Start listening quran with translation this is from divinity and you will feel it. Lastly Surah Jin is present in quran who clearly defines the the creation of Allah, the jinns. The very first answer of your question is Allah Pak sent Quran to prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) through "wahi" which means a prophet jibrael (A.S) comes to prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and give the message of Allah to him ..not directly Allah Pak sent his message to prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) but by prophet jibrael (A.S) that's why he's known as "pegambar" which means "a source through which Allah sent his message " to prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

Quran was sent as verses to prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him) by Allah through angel jibrael (a.s) The same way like that of torah and ingeel ( Bible) but by the passage of time, humans of that era corrupted torah and ingeel. So the last and the most preserved messages of God that is Quran was sent many centuries later to prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him). God sent messengers to every nation in different eras but after the death of that messenger, people used to ignore the teachings and hence corrupted the true message. So Quran is the only holy book without any contradictions and with clear message. You should read the translation of quran by yourself and then tafseer of an authentic scholar. You will see that quran is the only and ultimate truth

There are many questions that are unanswered since time immemorial. Most of those are inquisitive of the creator and purpose of creation. Some even question that weather there is a creator at all or everything came into being from nothing and are self sustaining. Here comes the role of religion to answer and give purpose to life.
