Hi Harry, thank you for your nice reaction IMO, when God take one gift (sight) He give another gift (musicality) to Putri. That's why she can reproduce (pronounce) every words she heard perfectly. You right that by increasing the tempo slightly, Putri brought more enjoyment to the song. I compared with the one Lataji performed at Hyderabad back in 2003 with full orchestra. I'm sure that Putri based her performance from that show. And from that point we can appreciate her more bcoz of her interpretation from orchestratic style to simple band style is so good.

Nice reaction. Crazy thing is Putri has done the same not just also in English and different variations and accents of Arabic and Malay, but also in French and Mandarin Chinese. I think she must be reading and remembering the translation of the lyrics, which is how she can express the emotion correctly. She also seems to deeply capture the musicality, style and some cultural nuances in how she sings songs from different cultures. She also can change her voice and pronunciation of any song to match the genre/artist she's covering. Even in foreign language, she does the arranging and performs/creates the multilayered soundtracks augmenting the live band (she plays 10+ different instruments and is expert in MIDI/sampling/audio editing)...all while being completely blind, just 18 years old, and almost completely self-taught. 🤯🤗
