When she met Parizaad, she was blind and Parizaad helped her (through her cousin) to go to USA for an operation. But before she came back, Parizaad left his mansion and went to that far away place, because he felt that she will not like her face when she'll see her after her eye operation. Incidentally they did mee,t but she had not seen her previously, so she didn't recognize that he was Parizaad and passed by him.
