Hi I like all your recipes. Now for the question, when you use the "Pressure Cooker" you say, cook for 2 or 4 or 6 whistles. What do you mean by "Whistles" ? Is that a time (that's what I think). Does a Whistle stand for 15 minutes or what. If one of you nice people could tell me, I thank you. By the way, you made a great video, thanks for all your hard work.

In pressure cooker cooking time depends on the pressure build inside it. And yes whistle also depends on time as cooker is widely used in India so every household has them, so with the whistle we know dal takes around 1 - 2 whistle and we don’t have to count time just listen the whistle and switch off. You can say whistleling sound is just a way to let you know food is cooked with how many whistles so that next time you do cooking you just keep track of whistles not time..

I also had this doubt, my pressure cooker does not whistle, it just makes a shhhh shuuu shhhh shhhh sound, once it has pressure and I count 10 minutes on my watch and then turn it off (if I´m making black beans for example)
