Indian Sadhu Talks About Ganja 🇮🇳

I went back to India to visit one of my spiritual teachers, Shyam Sundar Das Baba Ji. He left home when he was 12 years old to become a sadhu. He spent years living inside of a cave doing meditation. He has gathered a following of devotees from all around the world and has been given ashrams all around India where he feeds thousands of people. Krishna Das and Raghu Markus, two people I love more than anyone else, took me to meet Shyam Sundar Das Baba in 2017 for the first time. Even though we would sneak away when we smoked, Baba could always tell what we were up to. Here he is dropping some knowledge on us and what he says about smoking weed for meditation.

I'm Indian. He's saying: We're all the Eternal energy, no one is separate from it. Through japa, meditation, etc one can realize the 'Ram' consciousness or the Eternal energy. Don't smoke too much weed, little bit is okay. If you smoke too much, it might affect your health in a bad way. People like smoking weed because it stops their mind and they get into kind of a subtle Ram consciousness which leads to happy feeling. But it is temperory. It'll fade away after 2 hours. It doesn't help much but little bit is fine. He seems like a geniune thing to me.

Also, allowing others to follow without noticeable discomfort in the ideology that "you", the guru is worthy of the distinction and does not experience said discomfort means he has accepted it. Because its acceptance is uninterrupted means it has become an intrinsic functional ego of no question from this guru. Because of this, you can see minor frustration in ideas of weed/ganja violated in some sense in the minds of others, intolerances and authority of which can be used in abusive ways.

But heres a thing, my bloodpreassure goes sky rocket high 24/7 if im not smoking:/ ive smoked hasjisj on a daily basis for 25 years, and noticed that when I had my first only break from smoking last year. Started to smoke again, and my blood pressure went back 100% normal. My break lasted for 5 months. Is it the cbd that keeps my blood pressure fine?

It can be a useful headspace, but once you become adept at altering your consciousness for astral projection, astral travel, and other abilities, it is mostly a hindrance to those abilities. But it can still be used as a tool for growth, you just need to moderate to your mind's needs. Whether that be once a week, once a month, a couple times a year, once every few years, or never. :)

It's about novelty and personal experience. 10 minutes before I went on youtube I was posting a snap that spoke about how I've been sober for a few months and had recently had some weed but only a little bit. I spoke about when you respect a substance as a teacher and a lense to observe from you are more likely to have profound experiences that abuse. That for me is quite harmonious with this topic. So from my personal perspective I feel harmony and harmony is synchronicity. It's a far overused and over exaggerated term however it's not meaningless. Kindove like when to people dance near eachother they are more likely to mimic eachother moments. The word universe can be broken down to Uni (one) verse (dance or song). I guess for me a synchronicity is just a glimpse out of this restricted lenses into Brahman.
