What a transformation! My Indian slabs are looking a bit green near the hoise, think its a mixture of moss and drain water. Any suggestions for this small area? The slabs only went down in September so keen to get them back looking new!

Hello nick, thanks. Iv just treated myself to a new camera it’s a canon m50 with a 11-18mm lens , the other cameras are a go pro 6 and 4 going to replace the 4 with a 7 this week. I use a windows cleaning pole I think it’s 20ft and just stick the go pro on, the for editing use a program called Final Cut Pro 👍 have you done any work video yet ?

Hey emma yeah i noticed that too when i came to edit the video, what has happened is it was a very windy day and the camera on the pole was moving about a bit, so the in built camera stabilisation kicked in on a very wide shot, hence it making it look swaying, the build was as steady as rock off camera 😀👍

Hi Ricky, i just happened to stumble across your channel, just a quick question i had my patio laid down last year and was told NOT to jet wash my Indian Sandstone as it can damage the stone itself and make it worse in years to come! First of all is this true??! Second of all i had Easy Joint put between slabs, (Mushroom Colour) worth every penny, tad expensive but in long run any dirt build up or moss is easily removed and best of all it doesnt break up or crack when cleaning or sweeping 👍just thought id add that for people who are concidering having indian sandstone!!!

thank you Joe , yes it is just put a bit of diluted sodium hypoclorite will do it , don't go too strong , and use a yard brush scrub and rinse

The only thing would be a brick acid but certainly could say if it would not cause staining to your paving

There are some small areas when youre washing you tend to leave e.g walls and fencing why and in most videos it isn't much.

you could possibly try sodium hypochlorite don't get it on the sleepers go easy with it, failing that steam cleaning might do it.

Hello James, The cleaning season for me is from mid January to August , this month is always slow as people are away on hols and kids off school , September picks up again by mid October it drops off again, i normally take work off from mid October to mid January , Its not all year round work unless you are doing commercial jobs as well. But you can make enough money during the summer to last over till the season starts again the following year.

Ideally you need to offer something else like gutter cleaning during the winter months, My days are over on the ladders now and nearly 50 years old so dont bounce as well as i used to, like to keep my feet on the terrafirma, id rather just take the time off than work full time all year. Job wise well that depends if they are small patios you could do 3 or 4 a day but for bigger jobs like driveways you could do two or three depending on size.

How safe is the sodium hypo around pets? Or would you not use it if pets are a factor?

Hi ya it’s best to keep pets in while is being put down, I certainly wouldn’t use it if it was unsafe but it’s best to let the patio dry before any pets are let loose. Also biocide is the more dangerous chemical that some pressure washing companies use be aware of that.

Slow the video down, it's horrible at this speed. I tried slowing it down to .25 of your speed and it's still too fast to be enjoyable. I like to relax and unwind watching jet washing videos normally, but not these.
