STORYLINE:
Indian guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, on a visit to Iraq, said the country's people need to embrace the future and put the past behind them.
The Hindu spiritual leader was wrapping up a three-day visit to Iraq, where he met with government officials and teachers to talk about improving education and health care.
He met on Tuesday with Karbala governor as well as officials from the Ministry for Youth and Sports. He also prayed at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.
His non-profit group, the Art of Living Foundation, holds trauma relief workshops and computer training courses in Karbala.
