If you go by this than even salary are not equal. Just for comparison, Pakistan pm salary is 200k Pkr which equal to 60k inr while Indian pm salary is 160k inr. So even after comparison the ease of purchasing something is lot easier for a Indian. Currency adjustment can't be done without thinking of purchasing power. At same post we have more salary than pakistani and have to pay way less to convert rs in dollar
