I live in San Diego but Im from Fresno and I took my Scout rogue up to Fresno to show my fam last year when I got it. I only stopped for gas twice. I’m 6’0 and was pretty comfortable. No back pain or anything. Once I get the extended reach pedals, it’ll be like a sofa.

When your fuel light come on you only have 1/2 gal left which you should get about 20 to 25 miles if you conserve

Just picked up my scout sixty rogue today. It's my first bike. I did have to adjust the hight of the shifter, I had a hard time getting my boot under it

Good review and great points you make. I’ve always been a fan of the Harley-Davidson Sportsters both the 883 and 1200 versions of the Evolution motors, but those are going away and are not very modern like the Indian Scout and Scout Rogue models. And I’ll take the Rogue over the new Harley-Davidson Nightster models any day. Beautiful bike you have and I love the color. Ride safe!

I'm coming from an 883 XL sportster, been dreaming of an indian scout for years! Was between this and the chief due to the fuel gauge and 4gal tank. The scout has the same size tank as my harley

Tough comparison to mention the Lowrider S… but the 883 and pricing was more comparable to the 1200. Glad to hear someone’s perspective from a HD 883. Keep it going!

Can you comfortably ride this bike at highway speeds like 80-85 mph without the rpm’s being super high… My sportster sounded like it was gonna explode on the highway around 80 mph..

I take mine up to 130mph, if it werent for that governor i’d speed up it til my engine blows. Just tuck yourself in and hang on. The wind pulls you back hard.

@@Jcp1944 I would say yes. It’s a great bike for experienced riders or beginners. I would say yes for beginners because you get the power without the high torque, so the throttle is manageable but you also won’t quickly get bored with it
