Sanctioned as it is from western markets, why wouldn't Russia develop better trade links with india? India is already a substantial market for sanctioned Russian oil products refined and marketed to the West. As far as weapons go, aside perhaps for things like ammunition or mines there would be few Indian weapons compatible with Russian equipment.
