I am the only child in my family. My mom is the Principal of a Government College. She qualified for the UGC NET exam at the age of 30 after getting married. When she started working for the government, she used her salary to hire a cook, as my dad initially did not agree to it. The cook prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays. When I was 5 years old in 2001, my dad started contributing to the cook's salary. My mom mostly cooked only on weekends. Additionally, my parents also employed a maid for cleaning purposes, and both of them shared the cost of her salary. My mom's experience taught me that if a woman is working and her husband is not cooperating, she should start using her own money for some time. Eventually, her husband will understand and cooperate. I stayed in Cresche after school time for a few hours since the Nursery class. None of my relatives or grandparents ever taunted my Mom.

I wish you luck and keep up the good work 👍🏻😊.

Good video...now the vital question....Where were the kids when you were working in 9 to 5 job? I meant to say, day care, nanny, baby sitter...if possible would love your overview of the options and know what worked out well for you.
@manramk7 жыл бұрын
I have the same question as picking up kids takes most of your evening time and by the time you reach home , its already 6:30. I live in Newyork.
@farheenmaredia21767 жыл бұрын
Just leaving my feedback here. I think it makes it a lot easier when you have babysitter or nanny. Because they can come to your home and take care as per your instructions. Daycare fees can sometimes be very high and they don't always focus on each child so much. And with nanny we can always interview them to see how they are and test them out for a week
@manramk7 жыл бұрын
I Agree with you and we tried some Nannies but they send you a message saying that they won't be able to continue form tomorrow. that was big problem. Also I was not very comfortable leaving my whole house and kids alone with someone. Its just my perception not judging anyone. :) :)
@RealLifeRealHome7 жыл бұрын
I always used to have my elder son enrolled in after school program.. my little one went to day care after I returned to work...day care was next to my office.
@banerjeearundhati227 жыл бұрын
Because in India, while I worked, a 9 to 6 job never ended at 6 and most of the time I had to work late then the main stress was to pick up my son from day care as they were allowing kids till 7:30. And travelling on busy roads is an issue even within Gurgaon. So it was always me carrying a load of office work home to accommodate the creche/ day care timings

I found this video really helpful. My lack routines were not working. I have chronic illnesses and I needed to just move on and push through to the other side of doing almost nothing to doing a small list per day. I wrote out a morning routine yesterday and followed it. God as I know him has a sense of humor because I am sick today. Sometimes people will say telling God your plans will make him laugh because often it doesn't turn out the way you expect. I hope I am not seeming to preach at you as that is not my intent. I am doing what I can on the list today and I'm ok with that for today. I would very much like to see a sick day routine. A day whereby you have no energy but are not sick enough to have your husband stay home from work to be with the children while you are in bed being sick. Just a day that you are sick and very tired and only feel like sitting or laying on the cough most of the day and just to the very minimal things around the house such as that one load of laundry.
