Thanks for bring it up. This song is a famous Afghan song (history of Mulah Mohammad jan ) 60 years before. The song gains famous and crosses the borders to Iran and Tajikistan. So his father transfer it to the song u have heard it. Sami in an interview said that this is an Afghan song. See link below for the original song.

No it was not pure arabic. Hasbi Rabi Salala main stanza was in arabic. It is sung in 3 languages and same lines were sung in these 3. First he sung in urdu/hindi, then after main stanza repeat the same lines in turkish, then in last repeat the same lines of urdu part in arabic. So this is a beautiful Hamd n purpose is maximum muslims can undersatand it
