Sorry for delay, my motherboard died and I have transferred over to my main pc which took a while. This game eats VRAM and 8GB just isn't enough. In Vatican City performance is better but still not great. Starting area is very intensive and A770 doesn't get much better there even with the 16GB VRAM.

It could easily perform a lot better. I'm 99% certain that there is some under the counter business with Nvidia in play. No other upscalers supported, dystopian VRAM requirements completely eliminating lower end cards from even starting the game.

Turn off rasterization. Ray tracing supersedes all those techniques that merely consume superfluous GPU resources. Ray tracing is capable of accomplishing all that; it's akin to mandating the GPU to perform twice the workload.

Yes, if the ray tracing cores were any good. Offloading processing to crap will only function to deteriorate performance.
