Elijah Wood's character for example was originally much older, meanwhile he looked like a teenager in the film. Plus the scenes, story and dialogue weren't 100% accurate either. You can find videos on KZbin doing a side by side comparison of the movie and the comics. Your counter argument holds no weight and only ends up proving me correct.

If Hollywood wants to do something fun they could do crossover film. My idea would be to use the younger and older versions of Drake , Indi and Lora. I’d bring in Harrison Ford , Nathan Fillion and Angelina Jolie to play their older selfs then I’d bring in Tom Holland , Alicia Vikander to play their younger selfs. For young Indi you have to cast someone that could betray a younger Indi but it could be done. I’m not sure how the plot would go but it’s an idea. I think maybe a time travel element.
