This was a really good game but what I most liked was that a significant portion of the Indiana crowd started cheering at the end of the game. They saw their home team put in an outstanding effort to challenge a top ranked team with the nation's current #1 college wbb phenom and they saw a good game. I felt they were cheering both teams for a great game played by both teams. I would love to see a more kind and gentle sports world with widespread adoption of the Indiana standard, that fans cheer at the end of sporting contests no matter who wins because they appreciate all the talent and effort of all the athletes.

@@OriginalJohnDoeFakersBeware that was my favorite part of the edit! A well deserved standing ovation from a boisterous crowd

Whew! USC earned this one. No easy games in the Big 10.

Watched this game starting at 9 a.m. on NBC, when over, choice of Duke and Stanford already in progress on ESPN2 or Virginia and NC State on CW (CW has wbb now!), switched over to Oklahoma vs South Carolina game on ESPN at noon, watched first quarter then switched back to Virginia-NC State game. After that back to Carolina game but not paying attention, just waiting to hear the final score as I turned attention to my phone. I said to my mom, "This is amazing. When I was a little child, you couldn't see women playing basketball on TV, you could only see men playing sports."

@anthonytaylor7928 You ain't telling truth and for that you are now muted. Ain't gonna deal with your fantastical rewrite of history now telling us the patriarchy never existed and women never had to fight for equality. Bye.

Frustration. Indiana so close. Some luck needed, Where were the Taller Indiana players? - they desperately needed a stronger post player presence. Juju Watkins phenomenal - but I find it hard to warm to her.
