The overarching theme is that a lot of fans want Ballard gone (rightly so), but they try to use every player he drafts as a scapegoat. These same people had huge criticisms for Nick Cross during preseason, and now he’s balling.

He's the same player on the field game after game, too. That's the problem. He needs to improve dramatically to maintain a roster spot another year. No team can withstand 43% completions over the course of a season.

I think he'll develop but we need to give him time.. we are not a playoff team right now and that's okay we need to spend the rest of this year and next year trying to develop our young players then let's go get Manning if it doesn't work but we drafted a player with barely any experience knowing he was a project and after one season people are saying we need to move on and I don't get it he clearly has all the tools and has been getting better but just because we're losing right now does not mean we need to tear it down

Yes, Peyton's 1st year, he came in with way more college games played than AR. So, as a lifelong Colts fan, I'm willing to give him another year to show more improvement than he's shown this season, before I'm out on him. Gotta remember he's only 22 and with his athleticism, he could be a force to be reckoned with in the near future...as long as he improves year to year. But Ballard, he should be on the hot seat...along with the offensive n defensive coordinator. But we'll see! Go Colts!!!

@@UniqueTechnique29 let’s just remember that Shane and Ballard are responsible for this project. They said they would get AR right.
