@IndianBirdVideos3 жыл бұрын
Yes, these birds are in decline. Especially near human habitation because of stray dogs and cats they can't walk freely on ground. In waterbodies, even by eating garbage they survive but with habitat loss and pet trouble their population is in decline :( Thanks for watching!!

Bird rescue is usually done by forest department but there are private NGO's as well. you have to check for such NGO's in your particular region. Also certain birds cannot be kept at home even for rescue as it is against the law and only forest department can do that.

Happy to see your positive feedback!! If you have any recordings or if you can take the recording of the call in future, please do send it to indianbirdsvideos@gmail.com. Usually the nocturnal birds that make sounds are nightjars and owls. Sometimes Lapwings and Thicknees do make sound at night!

This is a fantastic video! I especially love the Forest wagtail and the bird on the dam! The bird at 5:48 I did not recognize as a White wagtail, more a White-browed one, but your video is great for learning to identify the various wagtails. Excellent job!
@IndianBirdVideos3 жыл бұрын
Dam bird was so cool to watch!! Happy to share these beauties with you😀😀 Regarding the White Wagtail @5:48, the White Wagtail has many subspecies like alboides, ocularis, leucopsis,baicalensis. Ocularis juvenile is the one in our video, they also have black throat but the face is whitish. The White-browed wagtail face is black and juvenile is grey in color. Pleased to know that you have watched it keenly 🤗 That's really encouraging!! Take Care
