The Bansuri genius Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia mesmerises with a tranquil Raga Madhuvanti (also known as Raag Madhuwanti). He is accompanied beautifully by Pandit Subhankar Banerjee on Tabla and Pandit Bhawani Shankar on Pakhawaj.
Madhuvanti is a Hindustani Raga. Also, it is the Janya raga of the 59th Melakarta of Carnatic Music, Dharmavati.

Great rendition....my only grouse is Pakwaj just dominated the Bansuri! The mysterious "white box" is a distraction too :-). I believe Subhankar Banerjee is one of the best Tabla players around!!
