Dang this episode was a hard one. My dad is a boarding school survivor and we record and watch every episode to see any updates or word. Seeing Ms. Chavez’s sign off was sad but we wish her success and happiness in her next endeavor. We are gonna miss her!

Ms. Chavez is such a compelling voice within the ICT community! I'm grateful that she and the rest of the team devoted her final ICT newscast to highlighting the work of indigenous women and men who are striving to build healthier tomorrows for native nations which have been devistated, but not destroyed, by the grievous wrongs committed and perpetuated by White Christians and White-dominated governments.

Wado, Aliyah! May your future endeavors bring your joy and happiness! My grandmother attend Dwight Mission School in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, when she was a young girl. May we not forget our history.
