There is no doubt that the CM is to be held responsible for his part in the violence. Everyone knows that he's a manipulator and a greedy opportunist. It is also true Arambai Tenggol and some other groups are taking advantage of this unrest to strengthen themselves (with the CM's blessings). But let's also be factual about the other side. Nobody is trying to snatch Kuki areas. In fact, the reason why Naga-Kuki conflict happened in the 90s was because Kukis encroached into Naga territories and they now inhabit many former Naga places. There is also no doubt that there is a massive drug mafia operating and all sides (Kukis, Nagas and Meiteis and Pangals) are involved but the biggest involvement is that of the Kukis. As much as I dislike Biren Singh and his lies, I do agree that there are many illegal Kuki immigrants from Myanmar who are part of this drug cartel. I will add though that there are Naga Myanmar nationals too but it has to be noted their numbers illegally entering Manipur aren't as high as that of the Kukis.
