Little Bit correction in the information. so people shouldn't carried away. 1. Coffee is cultivated in south india from more than 1000 years. Baba Budan Smuggled some seeds from saudi to chickmaglur. Planted in giri the place is called Baba budan giri. 2. Coffee Blossom happens in the month of Feb to March. Need 2 to 3 irrgation. 3 Average yield per acre is 20 to 30 Bags (50kgs). I am getting 10 bags per acre. 4. Too Many disease in Coffee Plantation, Borer, Beri Borrer, Leaf Rust & So on. Need 2 Sparys every year. 5. Total expense Weeding 2 times year - 8000 Boreduex Spary 2 times - 8000 Pruning 2 times year - 4000 Fertilizer - 20000 Irrigation 2 to 3 times - 6000 Labour is costly now a days - 12000 Collar pruning of Tree 1 time in 2 years - 10000 Coffee Curing and bagging - 3000 Total expense is 71000 - Total Income 30*5000 = 150000 Total Profit is around 79000. which is on higher side.

@@amittyagi8188 Yes I have Not included two more expense, 2 saal mein ek baar gobar ka kadh lagana hai (40000 for 1 load) & every year lime (chunna lagana hai) which is around 5000 per acre). Over all itna zyada bhi paisa nahi ban raha hai. Itna paisa agar banega toh sab Crore pati hote. Paisa hai toh Khud mat Jana. 1 acre zamine keliye abhi 15 to 20 lakh chal raha hai, zyada se zyada 75000 banega per acre. ise acha toh FD mein paisa raklo 5 to 6% paisa toh milega.

आप का calculation सठिक नहीं है, एक पेड में ज्यादा से ज्यादा average 5 kg निकलता है। मैं भी केरल आन्द्रा कर्नाटक सभी जगह देख चुका हुं, Organic Certification के लिए audit किया हुं वहाँ। अगर इतना profit होता तो वहाँ का किसान का हालत ऐसा नहीं होता।

It was not British who bought coffee to India. It was a Sufi saint called BABA BUDAN who introduced coffee to India in 1700 century from Yemen. Coffee was first introduced in CHIKKAMGALUR District in KARNATAKA. There is a hill named after The Sufi saint called BABA BUDANGIRI. Coffee was introduced to India a century before British invaded India. Also all the TATA, CCD etc. coffee estates are present in Chikkamagalur. 😊

You are giving wrong information about how first time coffee came to India. Coffee came to India in the 17th century when Baba Budan, an Indian Sufi saint, brought seven coffee beans from Yemen during his pilgrimage. He planted them in the hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka, where the conditions were ideal. This area, now known as Baba Budan Giri, became the birthplace of Indian coffee cultivation, which then spread across southern India.
