hydrostatic test of cylinder is required to check whether cylinder is ok to use after this date or not. And if hydrostatic test found ok, date on the cylinder will be changed for next 5 years. For general household people this message is true as if this date is gone, it might have issues with strength and it might explode, therefore supply of such cylinder is prohibited. I have seen such type of cylinder, which have passed the testing date and being distributed but it is in very less cases. So ABP news, pls show complete information on this topic.

So what the conclusion is the same, if u use a expired cylinder or a cylinder after its due testing date then its equally dangerous, since if testing date is B 24 and if we are using it in D24, then it's dangerous becoz it has not been tested!
